Zuhair graduated from the University of Salahaddin – Hawler in 2008 in Iraq with distinction in Civil and Structural Engineering. After completing MSc, he worked as a Designer Engineer in a Steel Structure Factory and has since worked on several consultancy projects in Iraq until 2012. In October 2012, Zuhair has joined the University of Sheffield, starting PhD research in Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics.
